Class description:
Rocket Yoga is a playful and inspiring hybrid format which draws upon the traditional series of Ashtanga Yoga. This class offers effective pathways to grow your practice through balanced strength and mobility, as well as creates a technical foundation for safe and empowered inversions (handstand, headstand, forearm stand and arm balances). You will experience creative variations and transitions in a layered approach to access what suits your ever expanding edge.
About Emily Pedersen:
Emily’s classes are designed to challenge you and help you explore your limits. She offers up multiple layers for postures and transitions, encourages you to get curious about inversions, and provides ample opportunities to push yourself and try something new. Emily started practicing yoga back in 2006, drawn to the clean lines and dance-like Vinyasa vibes. Over the years, yoga has allowed her to embrace her messy side, and she loves to honor tradition while respectfully breaking the rules.In 2016 Emily completed her 200hr YTT and started teaching yoga at her local crossfit gym. In 2020 she completed her 300hr YTT with a focus on trauma informed yoga & advanced sequencing. Most recently Emily just finished her forth 50hr Rocket Training. Altogether Emily holds and E-RTY 500 & is always seeking new education to add to her tool belt!
