Free Yoga at Halifax Community Center
Join us for a beginner-friendly yoga class taught through City of Raleigh Parks & Recreation. Whether you’re brand new or returning to your mat after some time away, this class is designed to help you move, breathe, and feel good in your body.We’ll explore simple flows, gentle strengthening, mindful breathing, and a relaxing closing sequence. No experience needed — and questions are always welcome.This class is perfect for anyone wanting to:
• build confidence in yoga fundamentals
• increase mobility and reduce stress
• reconnect with movement in a supportive environment

About Your Instructor
John is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher with a warm, approachable teaching style focused on accessibility, breathwork, and mindful movement. His goal is to help students feel comfortable, capable, and connected — whether it’s their first class or their hundredth.
