DO YOU WANT TO HELP YOUR NEIGHBOR? DO YOU NEED HELP FROM A NEIGHBOR?
HUMAN BEANS TOGETHER 501(c)(3) is sprouting in Smithfield!
We are holding a FREE YARDSALE at the Sarah Yard Center at 909 East Lee Street in Smithfield on Saturday, October 18th from 11am until 1pm. If you have gently used items you'd like to share with your neighbors, you can bring them, and if you maybe need a few things your neighbors might not need, you can drop by and pick them up. Human Beans Together is a nonprofit whose only mission is to help others. We started with a single, humble pot of soup, and we are determined to help those in need in whatever ways we can.
If you cannot attend but have items to donate, contact us directly and you can drop them off- or we can arrange to meet. If you want to attend the yardsale as a donor we will be setting up at 10:30am at the Sarah Yard Center. There will be some tables but if you have a card table or collapsible chair you may want to bring it. We are hoping for a huge offering to the community!
Items in GREATEST NEED:
*camping gear such as tents, sleeping bags, portable grills
*coats, sweaters, socks, scarves, and hats
*blankets, sheet sets, waterproof tarp
*jeans and leggings
Those are just a few ideas. You can literally donate anything you would normally see at a yardsale. We are grateful for all donations and will make sure they find their way to those in need.
