'Shaganappi Nordic Operations Club' hosts an amazing event on 31-Jan-2026 (Saturday).From 10.00 am to 2.00 pm you will be able to:
- get free xc-skiing lesson with an instructor (skis, boots and poles will be provided for free as well);
- try fat bikes for free (provided by sponsors);
- try snow shoeing (will be provided).
These free ski lessons are particularly good for beginners.

All equipment will be provided, but registration is needed to reserve the stuff (the link is posted below on this event page)
Saturday, Jan 31.
Meeting at 10:00 am at the parking lot of the Shaganappi Golf Course (1200 26 St SW, Calgary).
You can choose any activity you'd like to try, but please don't forget to register to reserve free gears.
All activities will be completed by 2 pm - I suggest going somewhere then for lunch and socializing to replenish burned calories and to share our emotions.
