Join us at Speciation Cellars for a relaxed, open-house style winter sowing workshop. Stop by anytime between 1 and 4pm to learn how to start native seeds outdoors using the simple, low-cost “winter sowing” method. Kind Hearts Bloom, a local community gardening nonprofit, will guide you through the process and answer questions - the educational portion is completely free.
If you'd like to make a winter sowing bag to take home, we’ll have all materials ready for a $5 suggested donation to help cover supply costs. A selection of native seeds will be available to choose from.
Bring a friend, grab a drink from the brewery, and enjoy an easygoing afternoon of learning, creating, and connecting with neighbors.
