About this Event
Join Our Free Winter Day Camp!
Join us for a guided community walk and fire gathering at Derby Reach in Langley, facilitated by clinical counsellors, intern therapists, and practitioners trained in nature-based therapy. This event is free, and no experience with nature work or therapy is needed. Come as you are.
We’ll begin with a one-hour walk on a flat gravel trail, with simple, optional moments along the way to pause, notice, and reconnect with your surroundings. After the walk, we’ll gather by the river to sit around the fire and take part in reflective activities together.
This is not about New Year’s resolutions or fixing yourself. It is about slowing down, reflecting on what you want to carry into the next season and what you might be ready to leave behind. Nature reminds us that life is not linear, and this space invites you to meet yourself exactly where you are.
If you are curious about nature, unsure how it fits into your life, or just beginning to explore this kind of connection, you are welcome here. Come see what meaningful moments unfold when the pressure is taken off—and enjoy some s’mores, hot chocolate, and tea in the process.
Directions to the parking lot closest to our meeting point will be shared after registration.
Register now, limited spots available.
