This is open to kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. Otter, beaver and wild hogs are present on this stretch of the river. This will be a 6 mile paddle. We will paddle upstream 3 miles have lunch at the old Denton Bridge and float back. Weather looks good and flow should be also. The dogwoods should be blooming and fragrant for this paddle. The last two times we were on this stretch of the Elm Fork a Bald Eagle was present on the river.
The paddle is free please check the box 'Have My Own Gear' or 'LEO' or 'Park Ranger'. (you pay your own parking $7 - cash envelope or Texas Parks Pass ) and if you need a board they will be available for $50 for the duration of the paddle.
