You're invited to attend this event that will provide an opportunity to learn more about the upcoming FREE Vocational Skills Training Institute's Pre-Apprenticeship Program slated to start in the spring of 2025. You'll learn how to enroll in our first of four 16-week sessions that will prepare you for entry into the high-paying construction industry. Due to worker shortages, construction trades people are in high demand particularly in the Research Triangle region.
The program consists of classroom and hands-on shop instruction for carpentry/framing, electrical, plumbing and HVAC trades. With entry-level skills you can position yourself for a lucrative career in the construction industry and secure your financial future.

View our new Resource Center where evening classes will be held, meet our staff and speak with seasoned trades people who can provide you with more information on specific trades, employment requirements and industry outlooks for jobs. Enrollment is open to residents 16+ years of age who desire to improve their economic position in today's economy.

Location Directions: The Resource Center is located in the Phoenix Crossing Shopping Center at 908 Fayetteville Street Suite 110 in Durham NC. From Fayetteville Street turn onto Piedmont Avenue and make the first turn into the side entrance of the shopping center. We're the first door on the left.
