The 5th Free Vaccine Clinic, fully funded by the Karen E. Klamer Memorial Fund, is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, between 1-4pm.WHO: services available to Bay County residents - dogs and cats only. Please bring ID or current utility bill as proof of residency.
WHERE: 800 Livingston, Bay City, MI 48708. This is at the county shelter/fairgrounds. There will be volunteers directing traffic.
HOW IT WORKS: Arrive between 12-330pm, and expect a line + a wait. Please do not arrive before 12, you will be asked to leave and come back. Unfortunately, we do not make appointments for this event. People tend to arrive early and wait a long time, but if you come a bit later, we will likely be able to service your pet and you won't have to wait as long. If you come early, you may want to bring another person with you in case you need to use the porta-potty. We NEED to keep the fairgrounds free of traffic for volunteers and we cannot block traffic.
We have enough vaccines for approximately 500 dogs and cats. This is a curbside service, and there will be volunteers directing the flow of traffic. Please make sure that your cats are secured in carriers, and that dogs are on a well-fitted collar and leash. If your pet has issues with handling or restraint, please notify volunteers when filling out your paperwork.
WHAT IS OFFERED: Distemper combo vaccine (without lepto) for dogs and combo vaccine for cats, 1 year rabies, microchipping. The chips we use have free lifetime registration.
