Free transportation to Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki 2024

IGDA Finland and Pocket Gamer want to make sure everyone can attend #PGCHelsinki in Finland, no matter where you're coming from! To help participants from outside the capital area, we're offering free bus rides and transportation reimbursements from various locations across Finland.

Free bus transportation is available from Jyväskylä/Lahti and Kotka/Porvoo. Simply register using the form below and show up at the pickup location. If you're traveling from other parts of Finland using public transportation, you can get a reimbursement of up to 40€. This offer is first-come, first-served.

Indie Developers: PG Connects Helsinki 2024 is offering a limited number of free tickets for indie developers. Apply via the Indie Developer Access form for a chance to win.

Bus Schedule:

• Jyväskylä/Lahti
• • Departure: October 1st, 05:30 from Jyväskylä Matkakeskus (Stop at Lahti Matkakeskus approx. 07:30)
  • Return: October 2nd, 17:00 from Helsinki (in front of the venue, more info from your IGDA bus host)
• Kotka/Porvoo
• • Departure: October 1st, 07:00 from Kotka XAMK campus, Salakuljettajantie 4 (Stop at Porvoo Harabackankatu approx. 08:00)
  • Return: October 2nd, 17:00 from Helsinki (in front of the venue, more info from your IGDA bus host)

Public Transportation Reimbursement info:

• If you attended from Jyväskylä, Lahti, Kotka, or Porvoo, or if you live in the capital area, no reimbursement is available due to pre-paid buses or proximity to the event.
• Attendees from other Finnish cities can claim up to €40 for personal travel (PGC ticket/order number required). You must have booked this reimbursement ticket on Eventbrite to qualify.
• A reimbursement form will be emailed to you after the event. Submit it within two weeks (by 16th October 2024).
• Please note that this offer may be withdrawn at any time.

Note: The time listed on the Eventbrite listing is for the earliest bus departure, not your specific bus. Please refer to the details provided above for your bus schedule. You will need to arrange your own accommodation for the night between October 1st and 2nd.
