Learn to Play is a nationwide event encouraging people all around the UK to take up a musical instrument, or to return to an instrument they used to play. We have supported the event since its inception in 2012 and are looking forward to welcoming learners to the shop again this year!These free, friendly lessons are provided by our own in-store teachers and instrumental specialists, as well as local professionals, and are available on a wide range of instruments, including piano, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, saxophone, violin, cello and double bass.
On Sunday 12 October at 1pm, there will also be a group ukulele workshop, a fun, communal opportunity to get to grips with this much-loved, accessible instrument.
We will be delighted to provide you with instruments for these sessions and a goody bag including exclusive offers, as well as advice and encouragement to help take your music-making further!
