National Public Lands Day, celebrated in Georgia as Your State Parks Day is a celebration of working together for a common goal, an opportunity to use America’s public lands for the betterment of yourself and others. Bring the family and a friend to help us beautify your local state park!Arrive when you can and stay as long as you can. Projects will be outdoors and weather permitting, staff will provide gloves, tools, and water as needed, but visitors can bring their own gloves if desired. Wear closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather. Please call in advance if you are bringing a large group. Thank you!
