If you are interested in getting waves, and getting lots of them, then this clinic is for you. The clinic cost for two hours is FREE if you have your own board and paddle. Board and paddle rentals are available if you need them. Any SUP will do it need not be a Surf SUP for the purposes of this class.

Our Surf SUP clinic is not for first time paddlers. It is however for anyone who would like to learn about taking your Stand Up Paddleboard game out into the surf. The focus of the clinic is getting you out into the lineup with the knowledge and the skills to be safe and successful. Warning - surfing stand up paddleboards is incredibly addictive and may lead to lifelong dependencies on catching waves. If you are already skilled at traditional surfing we can teach you the specifics that will lead to you doubling your wave count. With that said a big part of this clinic is the knowledge to be in the lineup respectfully and safely. Surf etiquette is real and you need to know the rules BEFORE you paddle out.
The clinic is 2 hours long and is split into 2 parts.

How to fall - yes there is a way

How to paddle in
Part two - we take it to the water to practice these skills.
While a wetsuit is not required you will get more out of the clinic if you wear one. Falling in is the best way to learn quickly.
This clinic is not held at the beach but rather in the safe, flat, warm waters right behind our shop. Paddling out into the surf is reserved for people who have taken the time to master some basic skills first and that is what this clinic is all about. The clinic is free to anyone who has their own board and paddle. If you don’t have a board and a paddle you can rent one for $40+tax.

Can’t make the clinic? We can always teach lessons privately or in groups. The cost is $125 for the first person, $75 per person for the second, third, and fourth person, and $50 each for persons 5, and 6 or beyond. Boards, and paddles are included in these rates but feel free to bring your own as well.
