Announcing a new, free, Summer Bootcamp for 11-14 year olds in Birmingham! 3-day placements are available during July and August 2024.
Join us in Birmingham City Centre at Millennium Point, Curzon St, Birmingham B4 7XG, for the one of four Holiday Bootcamp Skills Programmes this summer!
This employability skills programme is being run by Millennium Point Trust and Severn Trent, and supported by PHTA. There will be sessions delivered by award-winning training provider, Digital Innovators, who support young people develop vital skills to unlock their potential and help them transition into the world of work.
Each programme will take place over three days:
Cohort 1: Tuesday 30th July, Wednesday 31st July, Thursday 1st August
Cohort 2: Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th, Thursday 8th August
Cohort 3: Tuesday 13th, Wednesday 14th, Thursday 15th August
Cohort 4: Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd August
This programme aims to give you real-life industry insights and valuable work experience and mentoring opportunities. Industry experts from Severn Trent will be on hand to support and guide you, and provide practical insights through 'The Science of Sewage'.
Each day will run from 9:30am-4pm, and will be packed full of activities, group challenges, and skills development!
These sessions are aimed at young people, aged 11-14 years old.
Your child will develop essential skills, through activity-based learning, such as:

- Creativity
- Problem Solving
- Design Thinking
- Confidence
- ...and much more!
We aim for this programme to provide preparation for the world of work and next steps in education, including: CV support, Interview support, links to STEM careers.
