About this Event
Join us on Friday, August 9th at 6:30 PM for a free solo guitar performance with New York-based composer and artist Carlos Pavan. Pavan skillfully blends Argentine rhythms with classical and jazz concepts. His performance features traditional music from Argentina (tango/folklore) and contemporary original compositions.
This is a FREE event, but seating is LIMITED and pre-registration is suggested.
The performance will take place indoors in the museum's herb cellar. Stairs are used to access the cellar.
Parking is available at the Van Cortlandt golf course parking lot (parking lot GPS address: 189 Van Cortlandt Ave. W Bronx, NY 10471) or at metered spots on Broadway.

- Bus: Bx9 to West 246th Street and Broadway, then walk into the park on the tree-lined pedestrian path leading into the park.

- Metro-North Hudson River Line to Marble Hill Station, transfer to the Bx9 bus or #1 subway as above.
