Join us for our FREE Wednesday, April 30th, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Lucille-Umbarger School (LU) to learn more about keeping your teens safe and healthy when navigating social media. As a parent(s)/caregiver(s), it can be hard to stay "in the know" about all the apps that teens are using, but don't worry; the Center for Online Safety and the Burlington Healthy Community Coalition have you covered and will show you FREE ways to raise "Cyber-Savvy Teens."
Since LU will be a middle school next year, we invite any B-ESD families and their students new to LU to meet us at 5:00 pm and take a tour of the school with Principal KJ!
-Heavy Appetizers, Free Spanish translation, and Starbucks Coffee will be provided!

Acompáñenos a nuestra reunión GRATUITA el miércoles 30 de abril, de 6:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m., en la Escuela Lucille-Umbarger (LU) para aprender más sobre cómo mantener a sus hijos adolescentes seguros y saludables al navegar por las redes sociales.
Como padre/madre o tutor, puede ser difícil mantenerse al tanto de todas las aplicaciones que usan los adolescentes, pero no se preocupen; el Centro para la Seguridad en Línea y la Coalición de Comunidades Saludables de Burlington lo tienen cubierto y les mostrarán maneras GRATUITAS de criar a sus hijos adolescentes con conocimientos informáticos.
Dado que LU será una escuela secundaria el próximo año, invitamos a las familias de B-ESD y a sus estudiantes nuevos a LU a reunirse con nosotros a las 5:00 p. m. y a hacer un recorrido por la escuela con la directora KJ.
