Join our newest teacher, Amy Rieser, for a free Slow Flow yoga practice! Amy will lead you through a soothing yoga practice designed to bring balance to body and mind through slow-flowing movement and longer-held poses compared to a typical vinyasa flow class. Slowing everything down allows us to focus on our breath and explore what each pose has to offer. A great and grounding class for beginners or anyone who wants to slow their practice down.
Starting on February 11th, you can practice Slow Flow with Amy at Seek every Tuesday at 5:30 PM. Get to know her better below:
Amy began her yoga practice in 2007 after purchasing DVD’s online. She began attending studio classes in 2009/2010 and received her 200-hour Yoga Teach Training from Blossom in 2014. She continued her education in trauma-informed yoga, play-based yoga for children, and trauma informed yoga for youth. Amy has mentored other yoga teachers (2017/2018), taught paddle board yoga to adults, and from 2014-2018 taught yoga to youth, including neurodivergent youth in both the education and community setting.
Amy is a voracious learner. She is a level 2 Reiki practitioner and is currently working on her 300-hour ayurveda wellness coach certification. Yoga was a profound tool in her healing journey and as such she works to mindfully integrate the 8 limbs of yoga into her classes.
