Costa Mesa Sanitary District and CR&R invite our customers to a free drive-thru Shredding and Compost Giveaway Event!Location: Orange Coast College, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa, PARKING LOT K
- Customers can drop off up to 5 standard file boxes of paper per household. All documents dropped off at the event will be shredded on-site and will not be left unattended at any time.
- Accepted: white & colored paper, envelopes, manila folders (with/without metal prongs), paper clips, rubber bands, and staples.
- Not accepted: accordion folders, binders, binder clips, cardboard, electronics (CDs, hard drives, cell phones, batteries), hanging file folders, metal, plastic, glass, and X-rays.
- Customers can take home up to 2 bags of compost per household while supplies last. Event staff will load compost bags into the attendee's vehicle.
- A limited amount of kitchen pails will be available to District customers upon request while supplies last.
Please note: this event is only eligible to CMSD customers. Proof of residency is required (such as an ID, utility bill, etc.). Attendees must stay in their vehicles throughout the event.
