FREE! Shred Event - GMI Cares Day

Every year GMI Insurance hosts a FREE shredding event where you can have your unwanted papers and personal documents destroyed very securely. There will be (2) trucks onsite, coffee and donuts will be available to all our guests and at the conclusion of our event, we will raffle off a couple of Honeywell Home Safety Packages!
We also need your help with one thing, though....
The pandemic really shook a lot of households this past year and there are individuals and families still struggling to get back on their feet.
We are excited to partner with Orion Communities so that they can continue their mission of offering hope to those experiencing hardship. We believe with them, in that, every person deserves shelter, food, clothing, transportation and access to healthcare.
ORION listens at the street level and responds to the unmet needs of our most vulnerable neighbors with creativity, compassion and collaboration.
When you bring your papers to shred may you find it in your heart to bring at least one the following items with you, too?
1. New or gently used coats and blankets
2. Laundry detergent
3. Household cleaners
4. Toilet paper
5. Paper towels
6. Deodorant
7. Toothpaste
8. Shampoo/Conditioner (for all ethnicities)
The community is the reason we continue to host this spectacular event. Even though it is held on a weekday, hundreds of people come through, the shred trucks leave packed and we are able to help many non-profit organizations like ORION.
One final note....Patrons should remain in their vehicles at all times. Our staff will take care of removing items from your trunk and/or backseat. For more information you may call our Marketing Department at 610-933-4679.
See you there!
