Each spring, we host a FREE Shred Event for our members and city employees. While this is a free shred event, we will be accepting donations of backpacks and school supplies to help raise awareness and items for Operation Backpack. We will continue accepting donations for Operation Backpack from April - July at both Beach Municipal FCU branch locations.Our next shred event date is scheduled for April 19, 2025 at our Thalia branch.
All donations are given to the Virginia Beach City Public Schools for students in need for the upcoming school year.
