This is a free session but please bring an item of damaged clothing that you would like to repair.
Come hang out with us at Huyton Village Green for a free sewing and clothes mending workshop where Zero Fashion CIC will show you how to those loved items of clothing that have sat unused because of some damage.
This workshop is for all skill levels, the hands-on session will teach you basic sewing techniques, ways to repair damaged garments, and best practices for maintaining your wardrobe.
Discover how to give new life to your clothing while learning valuable skills that promote sustainability. All materials will be provided (apart from the garment itself), so just bring your enthusiasm and a desire to learn. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your sewing abilities and reduce textile waste in a supportive environment.
Spaces are limited and we are expecting high demand so booking onto the session beforehand using the link below is required.
ZERO is a CIC working in partnership with community groups to host monthly swap shops. We’re looking to team up with a range of local organisations, groups and businesses to provide free events that aim to address clothing issues on a personal, local and global level. With free car parking located behind the cafe, next to the Asda petrol station, it’s easy to spend hours in the cafe, enjoying the atmosphere and making the most of our workshops!
