Masala films—celebrated for their melodrama, spectacular song-and-dance numbers, and larger-than-life narratives—raise key questions about Hindi cinema. Are they a genre or a style of filmmaking? This one-hour session will include a brief presentation followed by an extended Q&A, inviting audience insights and discussion.
