Who is teaching?
Your instructors are Green Bay's only certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu instructors who have real world experience: 20+ years Law Enforcement, 15+ years ERU, 5+ years as a police training officer.
Where is this located?
The seminar is held at Stevens Defense Academy llc, 521 S. Military Ave.
What is the seminar about?
This seminar is an introduction to Gracie Combatives®️ and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu®️ in general.
Do I need previous martial arts or Jiu Jitsu experience?
No. No previous experience in any martial arts or self defense program is necessary.
I am taking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. How is this different?
Most Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is sports focused. While there is nothing wrong with that, the application assumes certain rules and that the opponent is also using Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu ®️ has always been about self-defense first and foremost against someone who is not trained or is a 'street fighter'.
What should I wear?
We highly recommend exercise pants and crew-neck T-shirts.
Will there be physical techniques taught?
Yes! We hope to get through some of the most common techniques but we will have a question and answer at the end for anything you want to know about.
Is this only for men?
No. Gracie Combatives®️ is co-ed for ages 13 and up.
