Once again, Boardwalk Cafe & Games will be hosting Free RPG Day!
For those who've never even heard of it, Free RPG Day was started in 2007 in response to Free Comic Book Day. It's a day celebrated around the world where a number of Tabletop Roleplaying Game companies, both major and indie, have free content available in the form of adventures, quickstart rules, and other goodies. It's a great way to see what else is out there, and believe me, there is a lot out there.
We'll have three of our Gamemasters running games that day, using the material submitted by publishers for this year's event!
At Noon, GM Emily will be running an Avater The Last Airbender game, Rebels & Refugees! Rebels & Refugees is a standalone adventure for Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game. Set in the Hundred Year War Era, this adventure includes everything you need to run an exciting singular story of your very own, or to play as an episode in an ongoing campaign.
Also at Noon, GM Alex will be running Trash Run, a one shot of a new game called Garbage & Glory. You play as a raccoon adventurer, searching through the alley ways and forgotten lots of human civilization, in a constant pursuit for the best trash and the fame it brings.
At 1, GM Chris will be taking you on an adventure yet to be determined! We'll update you as soon as we have more details.
Even if you don't have time to play, drop by and grab a free adventure or quickstart rules for a new game, there's a world of RPGs out there just waiting for you.
