Join us at The Salvation Army (900 W Adams St, Jacksonville, FL 32204) on Thursday, August 5th from 9 AM - 11 AM, to receive a vision screening at no cost to you! No appointment needed. The vision screening will check your visual acuity to determine if an eye exam is needed. A vision screening is the first step to receive follow up vision care through Vision Is Priceless. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented additional program safety measures to ensure the safety of our clients, community partners, volunteers, and staff. If you are joining us for a vision screening or exam, we ask that you:
- wear a mask (masks are required at many of our screening locations);
- attend a screening at a later date and/or reschedule your exam if you are exhibiting signs of COVID-19 or believe you have been in contact with someone who may have been exposed;
- come to the screening or exam alone or limit who comes with you to one person (who we will ask to wait outside or in your vehicle);
- and adhere to the CDC’s social distancing guidelines of 6 feet whenever possible.
