Deep brain stimulation (DBS) has become a recognised way of tackling tremors in people with Parkinson’s disease.
Now this technique is being explored as a potential treatment for other neurological conditions.
In this talk, Professors Alex Green and Ben Seymour, will discuss a study investigating whether DBS could be used to treat central post-stroke pain, and if this technique might be a way of tackling other brain-related conditions.
