Members of Ensemble-in-Residence the Manhattan Chamber Players are joined by the New Orleans-based Lott Quartet for performances of two of the greatest and genre-defining works in the string chamber music repertoire: Felix Mendelssohn’s dazzling Octet and Franz Schubert’s epic Cello Quintet, all in the warm, sparkling acoustic of the historic Rayne Memorial United Methodist Church – a string celebration not to be missed!
CCCMF Founding Artistic Director Luke Fleming leads an informal Pre-Concert Talk and Q&A at 7 PM.
