Did you know that not everyone experiences symptoms of prostate cancer? Often, it is only detected by a physician during a routine check-up. To quality for this FREE screening, you must be between the ages of 45-65 and without access to a primary care provider. This screening will only consist of a PSA blood test and takes just a few minutes of your time.
According to the American Cancer Society, prostate cancer screenings are recommended for men beginning at the age of 50. If you have high risk factors such as being African American or if prostate cancer runs in your family, screenings should begin at age 45.
