On Saturday, January 11, from 2- 4 PM Remarque Printshop will be hosting a printmaking showcase. Come learn more about the possibilities and marvels of printmaking! This goal of this event is to give curious artists and printmakers a chance to see a sampling of the myriad printmaking techniques in action. We will have artists working in several different techniques simultaneously around our workshop for the span of two hours. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions and talk with the artists as they work and demonstrate their techniques. Supervised children are invited as well. You are welcome to stay the whole time, or just pop in for a few minutes. Techniques “on display” will be relief printing, collagraph, monotype, drypoint, etching, photopolymer printmaking, screen printing, letterpress, and more!
