🗣 Calling all indoor houseplant lovers! 🪴We are having a *Free* plant cutting exhange inside the conference room of the McChord Library. So bring some plant cuttings to get some plant cuttings! This is open to military affiliated folks who can access the military base.
🌱 What are the details?
Saturday, September 6th from 1030am to 1230pm. We will meet in the conference room locating inside the entrance of the McChord Library on McChord Air Force Base (Army folks are welcome! We're an Army fam).
🌱What do I bring?
- A plant cutting, or several, or a whole plant you are willing to give away! There will be zero SELLING, this is not for profit. It's an exchange. Jars! If you have any clean pickle/mason/sauce jars that would help. A snack to share! I'll have a veggie tray and maybe something else, but having food always makes meeting new people easier.
🌱 Can I bring my children?
I'm personally keeping mine home to have some me-time to meet new people (and not be interrupted everytime i try to talk 😅). There won't be any toys or activities for them, so you CAN bring them, it would just be more fun if you didn't. Maybe someone can play with them in the main part of the library while you're at this event
🌱 Will it be organized?
🫡 You bet! I am going to do this "white elephant" style where we each get to pick or trade a cutting, and once everyone has at least one, it'll be a free for all. We all will have name tags and list our name under the cutting we bring incase you recieve a cutting you aren't sure how to care for.
