The Laketran Transit Center at Lakeland College will host our Electric Vehicle Rally as part of the Ohio “Wish You Were Here” Tour, organized by the American Solar Energy Society.The EV Rally will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturday October 4th. There will be Electric Vehicles for viewing plus a brief tour of one of the Electric Buses (thanks Laketran!! ). Laketran has a fleet of TEN electric buses that have been operating continuously in lake county for over three years now.
Laketran's ELECTRIC buses will be running their routes and pulling in for a quick charge during this rally. Laketran officials will give a brief presentation to describe the acquisition, operation, and economics of their fleet of 10 electric buses.
Come check out and learn about the EV’s that will be on display. Bring your own EV to show to other tour participants!
The two EV charging stations will be open for use. There is a Sheetz gas station adjacent with level 3 chargers if needed.
The 10-4-25 guided tour bus will arrive at Laketran Transit Center at Lakeland College around 10:50am
