Experience the remarkable power of compassion through nature connection and how it transforms your wellbeing. Join us for a workshop in which you’ll learn how to bring nature-based compassion into your daily life.Nature can be like a good friend who offers us a safe and non-judgmental place to be. We’ll explore how our fragilities can resonate with that which is vulnerable within nature, and how we can use this to care for ourselves and the wider natural world as one. By the end of the workshop, you’ll know how to apply nature-based compassion practices to bring more peace and nurturing into your everyday life.
We’re offering this free course through Coleg Menai’s Potensial (Lifelong Learning) Programme.
More about our Five Pathways to Wellbeing in Nature course
This workshop is one of a series of five in our Five Pathways to Wellbeing in Nature course, which takes participants on a journey through the five NatureWell pathways. The course is perfect for people who love being in nature and want to learn more about how nature supports us to feel well. You’ll learn about ‘eco-psychology’ and how being in nature benefits our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. In every session, you’ll have the chance to try out simple, fun and creative activities that help you to connect more deeply to nature, so that you benefit from your time outdoors. You’ll also learn how to keep your own nature-based practice going to help you continue to feel well and deepen your connection to nature.
Our Five Pathways to Wellbeing in Nature course is based on the NatureWell Approach, which was developed by the Natural Academy and is based on nature connection research by the University of Derby.
