Come experience a FREE introductory nature course for those wanting to learn more about the beauty of the Natural State. Nov 2 is a Tree ID class, where participants will go outside to compare bark, leaves, and twigs found in the native plant garden. Nov 9 is a Habitat class, where participants will make a nature journal, a suet bird feeder, and a squirrel feeder! Nov 16 is all about Duck Decoys, where participants will paint decoys and learn about fall migrations. Classes are taught by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission educators. Bring the whole family, and come to the Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center to experience the beauty of the great outdoors and learn why wildlife conservation is so important.If the weather is nice, students may partake in outdoor activities, so wear APPROPRIATE CLOTHES and COMFORTABLE SHOES.
The classes are free, but availability is limited, so please STILL REGISTER.
