Funnyman Tim Allen of Buena Vista Television's Home Improvement stars as Scott Calvin in this touching tale about a dad who stumbles across the chance to become Santa Claus and tale his son on a magical sleigh ride. In the film, Tim Allen plays Scott Calvin, an ordinary man who accidentally kills Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. When he and his young son finish Santa's trip and deliveries, they go to the North Pole, where Scott learns he must become the new Santa and convince those he loves that he is indeed Father Christmas.
