Come celebrate a Legacy of Horror with us every Wednesday this month. The programming will be at least 5-6 hours each week, so we are starting a half hour early at 6:30PM.
First: A team of British archaeologists led by Sir Joseph Whemple discover the mummified remains of the ancient Egyptian prince Imhotep, along with the legendary scroll of Thoth. When one of the archaeologists recites the scroll aloud, Imhotep returns to life, but escapes. Several years later, Imhotep has taken on the guise of a wealthy man, as he searches Egypt for his lost love, who he believes has been reincarnated as the lovely Helen Grosvenor.
Second: In Cairo, archaeologist Steve Banning unearths a vase that he believes could lead him to the ancient tomb of Princess Ananka. Unknown to Steve, his colleague, Professor Andoheb, is also the High Priest of Karnac who holds the secrets of Karas, a mummy who guards Ananka's tomb. Upon receiving funds from magician Solvani and his daughter, Marta, Steve and the Solvanis embark on an expedition to the grave site, where Karas awaits.
Third: An old archaeologist recalls the mummy Kharis, now at large in New England.
Fourth: A 3000-year-old limping mummy seeks his reincarnated princess in a Midwestern college town.
Fifth: The mummy Kharis from ancient Egypt is tormented by his forbidden love for princess Ananka. The trouble begins when mummy Kharis is recovered and transported to Cajun country for study by a group of archaeologists.
Film starts at 6:30pm. Free and open to the public with a small purchase from our snack bar. We have plenty of seating or feel free to bring your own.
