Unplug and take a break from routine and daily stress every month with Douglas Cardwell and Lotus Sound Bath at the monthly (first-Mondays) sound healing series at the Cathedral of St John Albuquerque (318 Silver Ave. SW), next Monday, May 5 at 6:30pm.
Sound healing is a meditation in concert. Gongs, crystal singing bowls, chimes, etc. bring the mind present, clears stress and distraction, soothes the nervous system, improves mood, and can help anyone unplug -to recharge from our daily routines. This free community offering provides respite from the barrage of external and personal distractions and stressors we're all exposed to. Plus, the contemplative and beautiful atmosphere of the historic St. John's feels good and sounds great. And we love having you!
Parking and entrance on East side (Silver & 3rd). Overflow parking available in adjoining lot to South (accessed from Lead Ave.). Please bring a yoga mat or comforter, pillow, and whatever you need to get comfortable. Ample seating is also available. Eye masks always available. Arrive early, if possible. Avoid strong fragrances. And please no recordings during session. Thank You!
