Free Military Veteran Rock Climbing Social

You've seen those people. The ones with the sticky fingers and ape-like arms that scurry up the rock walls like its nothing. Maybe that looks too difficult to achieve. Good news! We can help. Free indoor rock wall climbing and social time for veterans and veterans with disabilities. Adaptive equipment available. Come climb, socialize or both. Climbing pros on hand to help. No gear or experience required. We can help you up the wall! You don't have to be in great shape. Just come out and give it a bash. Who cares if you don't make the Olympic team on your first try, it's really about having a good time with people who know and understand something about your military experience. Heck, you don't have to climb at all. You can stand around at the base and talk about that idiot on your last tour (unless you're talking about me). Actually, one of the best reasons to come is that you may be there for a veteran who really needs to meet you.

This event is for all veterans, from all eras, with or without disabilities, of all fitness levels and all skill levels.

This event is held every 2nd Wednesday of the month. 18:30 - 20:30 at: River Sports Outfitters Climbing Center, 2918 Sutherland Ave, Knoxville, TN 37919. Just FYI, there is additional parking around back...

After everyone has had enough climbing feel free to hang out at a nearby establishment (optional). Support people welcome but not paid for. Real service animals that won't disrupt the activity are also welcome.
