Join us for your Free Mental Health First Aid Accreditation Training. This is a 1-day in person event on the Gold Coast, designed to equip our carers and parents with the necessary skills to provide support to both adults and young people experiencing mental health challenges. The training will cover topics such as identifying warning signs, providing initial help, and guiding people to appropriate resources. This is a blended program and will have one day in person, and 3 - 5 hours of online learning modules that will be assigned to you a few days before the program.
Please arrive by 9am on each day to ensure a prompt start at 9:30am - 5.30pm. Please bring lunch or buy it on-site. Registration is required to attend - enroll now to secure your spot!
In addition to the MHFA training you will also receive some support with some focus on self care, stress managment and having safe conversations about mental health and wellbeing.
Please note this is a funded training program for carers, this is someone caring for someone at home with a physical disability of mental health concern. If you are a paid professional please contact us for details of our professionals programs. If you are a parent but your children don't have special needs, please contact us regarding training for parents.
