About this Event
Is your favorite piece of clothing falling apart? Did you buy an amazing vintage piece that has a hole? This mending workshop will revitalize your clothing into functional art. Bring one or two pieces and we'll teach you some beautiful ways to repair them! All supplies are included and you'll receive some mending supplies and information zine to take home. This special no-cost mending workshop is being offered in partnership with the Neighbor-to-Neighbor program and the City of Long Beach Office of Climate Action and Sustainability to provide a free community space to learn about sustainable fashion through mending. Let's move away from fast fashion, learn a useful skill, and create community!

- Borro stitching
- Patching
- Hem repair
- Busted seam
Please bring:One or two pieces of clothing.
Optional: A fabric you love and want to use for your repairs.
