Free fun workshop bring along a textile item and learn how to mend it!This year we are proud to be part of Meanwood Festival.
Do you live in Meanwood, looking for a fun Summer Activity and want to find out more about our craft courses and workshops?
Bring along a textile item or piece of clothing and learn how to mend it.
Then come along to this FREE Mending workshop and learn a new craft skill , refreshment will be available and you will get to take your repaired item home with you!
This is an open studio event so pop along anytime from 2pm, finishes at 4.00, Stitch-Up studio is based at Meanwood Community Centre and we run courses, workshops and weekly community craft groups in the area!
You will get to meet our friendly Stitch-Up Team and find out what we have planned for our Summer and Autum programme.
You can have your say in helping us shape our 2024 / 2025 programme of community craft activity as well.
This workshop is suitable for those aged 14 and above, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
No experience is necessary for this workshop, all levels are welcome.
These workshops are very popular so please only book the tickets that you need and cancel any unwanted tickets.

Stitch-Up CIC is a social enterprise and any profits we make are reinvested straight back into delivering our creative community projects supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Leeds to learn new skills and improve wellbeing.
We will also be using this time to gain feedback from participants about what creative activities they would like to see going forward at Meanwood Community Centre so all feedback is greatly appreciated.
There is ample parking available at the Community Centre Car Park. If you cannot fit in the Car Park, please park on the main part of Stainbeck Avenue, with consideration to the residents please do not park in the cul-de-sac.
