About this Event
Join us every Sunday for free tours of our malthouse! Learn the story of malt and its foundational role in beer. Discover the connection between farmer, maltster and brewer (or distiller) and find out what makes Admiral's California-grown, floor-malted barley so special. Our malthouse is housed in a converted 1942 U.S. Navy dry goods warehouse where state of the art equipment and processes are combined with some of the most traditional methods used for centuries to turn raw grain from the field into the backbone of beer.
Tours start at 3:00pm on Sundays in our adjacent pub, The Rake. Come early or stay late and explore our ever-changing list of beer and whiskey all brewed with Admiral Malt. Sit inside with a view of the malthouse or enjoy our expansive beer garden. Come for lunch or a snack—our pub menu is designed with the same careful sourcing and attention to detail with which we make our malt.
Reserve your spot today. Tours are filled on a first come, first served basis and are limited to 15 people. Walk-ins welcome, too, as long as there's room!
P lease note: While The Rake is pet friendly, malthouse tours are strictly for humans. Thanks for understanding!
