What’s FinCEN and Why Should You Care Before December 1?
Big changes are coming to real estate—and they’re closer than you think. Starting December 1, 2025, a new federal rule from the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) will take effect. This rule will significantly impact closings, client documentation, and transaction timelines.
This isn’t just another title issue or routine compliance update—these changes will directly impact every agent, every transaction, and every client, regardless of the price or county.
Join us for a breakdown of what you need to know, including:
•111 data points must be collected and reported
•Trusts are included – full disclosure of beneficiaries is required
•Bank account numbers and citizenship status must be reported
•New title and escrow fees – 3–6 extra hours of labor per file are expected
•Applies to all property transfers – this is not a Geographic Targeting Order (GTO)
Whether you're an agent, broker, or office manager, this is a can't-miss session to get ahead of the curve.
Don’t be caught off guard—get informed and be ready for December 1.
