ABOUT THIS EVENT
Why not come along and discover the canal towpaths in Sheffield on one of our walk leader led walks. The Wellness Walks are designed to be a relaxing step into nature, but will also provide an opportunity to meet others and make new friends. All you need to do is book in on this free walking session.
These sessions are designed for adults and for supervised children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways.
The Walk lasts approximately 2 hours.
Please bring comfortable footwear and clothing to suit the weather conditions. It is also advised that you bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated on the walk.
Unfortunately we are unable to welcome dogs to this event this time. But please do look out for other events where all dogs would be most welcome!
GETTING HERE
The meeting point is outside Victoria Junction Cafe, Victoria quays, Furnival Rd, Sheffield S4 7YB.

Public Transport:
Buses: 5, 24 Sheffield, 25, 97 Sheffield, 98 Sheffield, X54 Sheffield and X74 Sheffield bus routes will take you to bus stops nearby
Train: It's approximately a 15 minute walk from Sheffield Train Station to get to the Canal and River Trust Office at Victoria Quays.
Parking: The Victoria Quays Car park is the closest car park to the walk meeting point.

Due to the cobbles and stairs on this walk, we don't believe its accessible for wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot.
Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.
Walk ins will not be accepted so please book your place. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part.
