ABOUT THIS EVENT
Come and walk the waterways of Kirklees in this steady-paced, 3-mile circular walk, taking in the Calder & Hebble Battye Cut, the River Calder, the Huddersfield Broad and finishing with a surprise view of the River Colne.
Approximately 3 mile walk, taking up to 2 hours. Toilets available at the beginning and ending of the walk in a local pub.
These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways.
This event is dog-friendly so please feel free to bring your furry friends along!

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
A mostly flat walk with an incline halfway round the walk. Footpaths vary from unsurfaced towpaths, public paths and country lanes. May not be accessible for wheelchair users.
