ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Community Roots programme (Brent) focuses on engaging with the local community (specifically non-users) living within 1km of our waterways and improving their perceptions of the water to feel safer, happier and healthier by the water. We champion the many benefits that our waterways offer and encourage more people to use and enjoy them by offering them free wellbeing activities in the area. This programme is supported by players of People's Postcode Lottery.

EVENT DETAILS
Come join us for a two hour guided bird walk around the Brent Reservoir (Welsh Harp), the beautiful Site of Special Scientific Interest.
An experienced bird walk leader (Samuel Levy) will guide you around the reservoir to spot the local birds around the area. Birdwatching is unpredictable so the species seen on the day will inform the major talking points. But we will also, amongst other things, learn how to identify common birds.
The route will pass through bird hides that the Welsh Harp Conservation Group manage.
Please register via the Eventbrite page to secure your spot. Please note that all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
