About this Event
Julia Kochetova is a Ukrainian photojournalist and documentary filmmaker, who uses firsthand storytelling to cover the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war. She works with mixed media, using digital and film photography, illustrations, and poetry. Thus, she creates an immersive experience of war, the one she is living through.
Her work has been awarded recognition by World Press Photo (2024, Global Winner, Open Format) and Emmy Award (2023, VICE News).
