About this Event
We love how dance is growing in our beautiful City of St Petersburg! We love it so much and the health benefits of dance, we want to make it available to our Seniors age group!
Do you have an elder that needs a bit more activity or might benefit by potentially finding a passion for social dancing? If so, RELPro Dance Promotions and a Non-Profit, Digitally Detached have partnered up to provide free classes to these kids funded by the donations to Digitally Detached!
Attendees will be taught the fundamentals of body movement for dance, musicality, basic techniques of popular Latin dances such as salsa & bachata and lead/follow techniques that can be utilized to dance to music.
How to find us? We are in the Pier Plaza near the splash pads and angled lawn.
As the class and interest grows, we will provide more advanced classes and opportunities to perform. The St Pete Pier Latin Dance Class and Salsa Dance Party on First Saturdays in the Pier Plaza will provide an outlet for attendees to further practice what they learned. The pier event is a family event from 6-9pm!
The class will be free but we accept donations to offset any current or future costs.
