WINTER SERIES: An Array of Arm Lessons
with Eve Boltax, Feldenkrais practitioner

Mondays, 6:00-7:00pm in Jamaica Plain, starting January 13th to March 31st

First week of classes are free! No class on Feb 17

Experience a weekly dose of Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons to deepen your self-connection, get to know your body better, lubricate your joints, and lighten up your life!

This series will focus on becoming aware of how dynamic support from the entire skeleton can free the movement of our shoulders, arms, and hands.

Feldenkrais is a learning system that helps improve human functioning through movement and awareness. ATM lessons gently guide you through mindful “movement puzzles” that encourage you to sense, think, and move in novel ways.

In this series, you will learn how to:

-find freedom in your shoulders, arms, and hands

-move with more grace, ease, and comfort

-regulate your nervous system

-reduce your discomfort, pain, and anxiety

-increase your mobility and stabiity

Who is this series for:

-No previous experience with the Feldenkrais Method is needed to participate.

-Anyone looking for alternative avenues to reduce stress, pain, and anxiety

-Anyone who is curious about their bodily experience

-Anyone engaged in performance or creative process (musicians, athletes, dancers, actors, writers, artists). This is not a requirement!

This series includes:

- ten Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® lessons

- 15 minutes of free time to digest the lesson (online version only)

- Q+A at the end of each class

- Optional homework

- Downloadable audio recordings

If you can't make it live, that's okay, recordings will be provided to all participants.

Fee: $190/regular rate, $110/working artist/low income rate. Drop-in is also an option. Payment via Venmo (@eveboltax) is preferred.
