This free information evening is designed for parents and professionals interested in the area of literacy learning difficulties and learning disorders. You can attend in-person or online.It will provide some preliminary answers to the following questions:
What does current research tell us about reading acquisition?
Why do some children struggle with reading and writing?
What is a learning disability?
What is dyslexia?
What are the causes?
What can we do about it?
How important is the school / home partnership?
This session will be held at DSF Literacy Services in South Perth. You are welcome to attend in person or view the live presentation online.
Please note: As this will be a live session (not a recorded webinar), registration to view the online presentation is essential. Participants who opt for the online format will be emailed a link to access the presentation prior to the session.
