Shawn is the proud proprietor of Dance Headquarters, a seasoned teacher, and a dance enthusiast with a high proficiency in various dance styles. His absolute favorite? West Coast Swing! This dance stole his heart and brought him to San Diego in 2005.
? Starting in a room at the American Legion in Linda Vista, Shawn's Dance Headquarters has now grown into one of San Diego’s most successful, largest, and finest dance studios. With a background in hip hop and breakdancing, Shawn brings a unique touch to West Coast Swing, creating cool and innovative pattern combinations for partner social dancing.

San Diego Swing Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of West Coast Swing dancing that was formed back in 1970. The longest-running WCS Club that just celebrated our 52nd Anniversary.
MUSIC FORMAT:
San Diego Swing Dance Club plays predominately 70% West Coast Swing and a 30% mix of Country 2 Step, Nightclub 2 Step, Waltz, Cha Cha, Hustle, etc. DJs are receptive to requests.
